We harness the power of wood to stop climate change.

Our new CO₂ removal process is cheap, durable, and nature-driven.

A Gigaton-Scale Solution

Preventing the decomposition of 0.5% of all terrestrial biomass — by keeping it dry — would remove more than 1 billion tons of CO₂ from the atmosphere every year.

Cheap and Energy-Efficient

Trees use solar energy to capture CO₂ and convert it into wood. Thus, by storing wood waste, our cost of carbon capture is essentially zero. This is very different from the way other companies capture and store carbon. They end up needing to store CO₂ or needing to convert CO₂ into something else — which adds further costs, especially energy costs. Because we do not need outside energy inputs to capture carbon, we do not rely on any unbuilt renewable energy infrastructure.

Durable Carbon Storage with Simple MRV

We can store carbon aboveground as dry wood for hundreds (even thousands) of years, because dry conditions can be maintained so easily in aboveground tanks. In addition, the monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) for our aboveground dry wood storage is simple, because the stored wood is directly accessible.
